Education Sector Overview: HWPSDO’s Education Program is dedicated to expanding access to quality education for deprived women and children across Afghanistan, building better futures for vulnerable communities. Our efforts focus on capacity building for teachers and school principals, digital and distance education, adult literacy, and Education in Emergencies.

Additionally, HWPSDO provides Psychosocial Support (PSS) to strengthen children’s skills, emotional resilience, and social well-being, ensuring safe and supportive learning environments. Our Non-Formal Education programs emphasize practical skills alongside literacy and numeracy, fostering sustainable socioeconomic growth within communities.
